En passant sur la terrasse, j’ai été éblouie par la vue sur la vallée et les collines de Shimba. Une vue dont on ne se lasse pas! Pour un week-end plus reposant ,J’ai réservés les services du chef Ali et je n’ai pas été déçue : il a su ravir mes papilles.John maîtrise indéniablement l’art d’accueillir des invités. Il a véritablement à cœur de faire de notre séjour, une expérience agréable et mémorable et je dirais que c’est une réussite !Merveilleuse expérience que je recommande à tous !

Unser Fahrer Chengo war ebenfalls super nett und hat uns sooo viel gezeigt! In der Unterkunft selbst leitet Juma Jay die Geschäfte, da der Eigentümer John meist in England ist. Dafür ist aber Haushund Muppet vor Ort und freut sich über Gäste 🙂 Da man vor Ort nicht einkaufen kann, kann man den Koch buchen - es wird dann gegen Entgelt eingekauft und gekocht… Trinkwasser ist vorhanden, Klimaanlage und warmes Wasser ebenso! Pool und Zimmer waren zudem super schön und sauber! Pumzika-Tu ist ein magischer und paradiesischer Ort - jeder Mensch mit einem offenen Herzen wird ihn lieben!

However, anyone who likes peace and quiet, nature, unbeatable views, and delicious local food will really appreciate this place. As a family with two small children, we felt very comfortable and had a wonderful time. Asante sana!

  As a first time visitor to Kenya, and imagining the animals and natural attractions, I was completely blown away by Pumzika Tu. Upon arriving and entering the cathedral like... read more traditional structure, I was immediately drawn to the covered patio overlooking the beautiful valleys surrounding Kwale and the community led Mwaluganje Preserve. I could hear elephants trumpeting and was able to see a group of about 20 with the binoculars available for guests. Wow! During my stay the staff was helpful and accommodating with information and care, lovely people. The rooms were impeccably clean, with mosquito nets and A/C. The infinity pool overlooks the Valley. I honestly can't say enough good things about the stay! Didn't want to leave!

  The view was stunning, the chef cooked delicious food, the staff were attentive. Couldn't wish for a better stay.Also feeding bush babies and petting dog and cats were spectacular.

John et son équipe... read more sont très serviables et accueillants.Si je dois retenir une seule chose de ce magnifique logement, c’est la vue à couper le souffle sur le sanctuaire des éléphants et la forêt kényane, on ne s’en lasse pas.Un super rapport qualité prix, je conseille à tous et à toutes. En particulier pour les amoureux de nature et de calme.

Secondly, the host... read more Said & cook Ali were very accommodative and even prepared nice vegan meals for us for a good value, it was very much appreciated (thanks, Ali!). On the less enjoyable side, it seemed there was more time without than with power, and power outage here means no running water at all. The pool was also not usable, it hadn't been cleaned or chlorinated and was more of a pond; in general the compound could use a bit of looking after. There was only a very short walk available in the vicinity, so we mostly enjoyed the terrace with the beautiful views. The host Said did try his best to accommodate us. Thank you for hosting us!
